Rave Reviews from the Little Ones! Imitation Crab and Egg Soup

This soup is made using imitation crab meat (crab sticks).
The slightly sweet taste of this soup is addictive.
My 6-year-old daughter can gulp down 3 bowls and still wants more!

Ingredients: 3~4 servings

Crab sticks
1 packet
Chinese cabbage, cabbage, Japanese leeks, etc. etc.
As desired
Egg
1
★Water
400ml
★Chicken stock powder
2 teaspoons
★Oyster sauce
1 teaspoon
★Mirin
1 teaspoon

Steps

1. Put ★ into a pot and bring to a boil, then add in the veggies (this time I used Japanese leek), and boil until soft. Whisk the egg.
2. Add the imitation crab and bring the pot to a boil, pour the egg into one spot in the pot while mixing the soup with chopsticks, and immediately turn off the heat; then it is done .

Story Behind this Recipe

I made this because my daughter said that she wanted to eat egg soup. This ratio of seasoning ingredients works really well!
The soup is perfect when it's cold outside. Give it a try!
