Lemon-Basil Chicken Sauté

Lemon-Basil Chicken Sauté

This is part of my series of easy recipes, 'Oh, Even I Can Make It.' Just pick up lemon juice, dried basil, and chicken at the store and you're ready to cook. It's a simple chicken recipe that looks fancy.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken thighs
200 g
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Dried basil
1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
to taste

1. Cut the chicken thigh into bite-size pieces. Put in a plastic bag along with the lemon juice, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Rub and set aside.
2. It's fine to add a generous amount of basil (enough so that you're wondering if you've added too much). This gives the chicken a distinct basil flavor.
3. Marinate for 10 minutes (to half a day in the refrigerator) then cook. Serve with your favorite side dishes.

Story Behind this Recipe

This looks like lemon-basil chicken sold at the supermarket.
