Green Smoothie with Kale

Enjoy this kale, grapefruit, and banana-based green smoothie.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Kale
1-2 leaves
Grapefruit
1
Banana (frozen)
1
Carrot
1/2
Apple
1/4
Mineral water
200ml or more
Chia seed powder (optional)
2 tablespoons
Also try adding your favorite fruit such as pinapple, mango, papaya.

Steps

1. Peel the grapefruit, also removing the pith. Peel the carrot and apple and chop everything into chunks, including the banana.
2. Chop the kale leaves and stem into pieces.
3. Place all the ingredients into a blender and pulse until even.
4. Blend until smooth and no rough bits remain.

Story Behind this Recipe

I used to squeeze and drink grapefruit juice every morning, but I jumped on the green smoothie boom and came up with a new version. My family drinks this every morning.
