Matcha and White Chocolate Gateau

I like this more than chocolate gateau.

Ingredients: 15 cm round pan [18 cm]

★Egg yolk
3 medium [4 large]
35 g [50 g]
○White chocolate
90 g [130 g]
80 g [115 g]
◇Cake flour
40 g [60 g]
◇Cornstarch (or katakuriko)
20 g [30 g]
7〜10 g [10 -15 g]
☆Egg white
medium 3 [large 4]
35 g [50 g]


1. Melt ○ in the microwave and sift ◇ together. Make a moist and glossy meringue with the ☆ ingredients.
2. Preheat the oven to 320°F/160℃. Whisk ★ together in a bowl.
3. Add ○ and ◇ in that order into the Step 2 mixture and mix together. Then add the meringue, 1/3 at a time, and fold after each addition.
4. Pour the batter into the pan and bake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes.
5. Dust powdered sugar over for decoration. It'll give it a nice look.
