Grate the daikon.
Cook the bacon until crispy, and cut to easy-to-eat pieces (or cut the bacon before cooking).
Prepare the chopped green scallions and tempura crumbs.

Serve rice into a bowl and top with the bacon in Step 1 and the chopped green scallion from Step 2. Sprinkle with umami seasoning and soy sauce, and it's finished.

If you cut the bacon into small pieces, it's a hassle to flip over to cook the other side, so I cut it after cooking. If you have frozen tempura crumbs and scallions like in Recipe ID: 1865257, this dish will be done in a jiffy! I always have a batch of these frozen mix prepared.
