Cheesy Mashed Potato Pork Rolls

Cheesy Mashed Potato Pork Rolls

The sweetness of the pork becomes the sweetness of the potatoes in 1 step. Combined with the richness of the cheese, this goes great with wine.

Ingredients: 3 servings

Pork belly meat (for shabu shabu)
4 slices
1/4 teaspoon
to taste
4 tablespoons
Consommé Soup stock granules
1 teaspoon

1. Boil 6~7 potatoes, and mash well.
2. Add flour, salt, pepper, and consommé soup stock granules, and knead together thoroughly.
3. Roll it up into the size of a ping pong ball, and stick a piece of cheese sliced in half inside.
4. Shape the potato-cheese into small balls, and wrap in the pork meat.
5. Put the wrapped balls in a preheated frying pan in a single layer, and pan-fry over low heat until browned.
6. Flip over, cook until browned all over, and they're done.
7. Serve with boiled green beans and bean sprouts plus cherry tomatoes.

Story Behind this Recipe

My family sent me a ton of potatoes.
I wanted to enjoy their flavor as-is.
