Easy Chinese Cabbage and Cod Steamed in Sake

This is an easy winter dish.
Cut! Position! Steam!
In just a couple steps, you'll have a delicious main dish!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Pacific cod
2 cuts
Chinese cabbage
5 leaves
3 slices
2 tablespoons
☆Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
☆Salt and pepper
to taste
10 g
Shimeji mushrooms
as needed


1. Chop the Chinese cabbage and bacon to 1 cm wide pieces. Spread the cabbage evenly in a frying pan.
2. Place the mushrooms, fish, bacon (in that order) on top and sprinkle on the seasonings marked with a ☆ (the sake should sprinkled directly on the fish).
3. Cover. Heat over medium-low to medium heat and steam for 10 minutes.
4. It's finished when the fish is completely cooked. The broth is also delicious!
