[Ghibli] Kiki's Delivery Service Jiji Cookies

[Ghibli] Kiki's Delivery Service Jiji Cookies

These are great for White Day too. These are the 5th Ghibli cookies that I have made. If you put a ribbon on a black cat... it pretty much does look like Jiji, so don't worry!

[Basic cookie dough] Please see Miruti's recipe
(Recipe ID: 1519170)
*Cake flour
120 g
40 g
60 g
*Pure cocoa
as needed
*Red food colouring
as needed

1. Make 3 types of cookie dough: plain dough, dough with cocoa powder, and dough with red food coloring.
2. Use the cocoa cookie dough to make a long, thin tail, and make a teardrop shape to use for the body. Lay the body piece on top of the tail to connect them.
3. Make an oval shape for the head and lay it on top of the body piece to connect them, then attach two long triangular pieces for the ears.
4. Make two round eyes out of the plain dough, and place chocolate chips in the center for the pupils.
5. Using the plain dough, make two triangular pieces slightly smaller than the ear pieces and place them on the outer edge of the ears.
6. Make two triangles with the red cookie dough and arrange them in a ribbon shape. Make a square piece and place it in the middle to make the ribbon's knot.
7. Bake them for 12 minutes at 170℃ and they're finished.

Story Behind this Recipe

I came up with these while thinking about making Halloween cookies, and since they were easier to make than I thought, I uploaded the recipe.
