A Simple Microwaved Lunch! Mentaiko and Cream Udon Noodles

Pasta also works, but the nice texture of the thick frozen udon noodles with mentai cream melds well together, and is so delicious . You can easily make this in the microwave just using one bowl.

Ingredients: 1 person

Frozen udon noodles
1 portion
Butter
7g
Mentaiko
20g
Garlic (tube type)
1cm
Heavy cream
50ml
Milk
50ml
Salt and pepper
to taste
Nori seaweed
to taste
Shiso leaves
1~2 leaves
Green onions or scallions
to taste

Steps

1. Place the frozen noodles into a microwave-safe bowl, and microwave (600W for 3 minutes). While it is microwaving, mince the nori seaweed, shiso leaves, and green onions.
2. Add the * ingredient while still hot, and stir well.
3. Season with salt and pepper, cover with plastic wrap or a lid, and microwave again (600W for 1 minute).
4. Give it another quick stir, arrange onto a plate, and top with nori seaweed, shiso leaves, and green onions, then it is done.
