Simple and Amazingly Delicious Sweet and Spicy Chicken Tempura

Easy to make and super delicious! The sweet and spicy sauce is made using onions, which make it even sweeter.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken thigh (or breast)
1 fillet
Tempura flour
as needed
Onion
1/4
○ Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
○ Mirin
2 tablespoons
○ Sake
2 tablespoons
○ Sugar
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Chop the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
2. Dredge in the tempura batter, then deep fry in oil heated to 180°C for 4 to 5 minutes.
3. Mince the onion, then sauté in oil for about 3 minutes.
4. After sautéing the onions, add the ○ ingredients, then sauté for about 2 minutes to make the sauce.
5. When the chicken is ready, transfer to a serving dish.
6. Pour on the sauce with onions, then serve.
