Easy Flavored Rice Made with Canned Kabayaki-style Pacific Saury

Pacific saury is actually in season in autumn, but if you use a can, you can eat it all year round! You can make delicious seasoned rice just by using a 98 yen can of kabayaki-style pacific saury!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Canned Kabayaki-style Pacific Saury
1 can
Uncooked white rice
2 rice cooker cups (360 ml)
Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
1+ tablespoons
Sake
1 tablespoon
Mirin
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. This is the can of kabayaki-style pacific saury that I used.
2. Wash the rice and drain in a strainer.
3. Put the rice into the rice cooker bowl and add the ○ ingredients. If you like a thicker flavor, use 2 tablespoons of mentsuyu! Pour in the water until it reaches the specified amount for 2 cups.
4. Plop the canned saury right in! Pour in the canned juices too! Turn on the rice cooker!
5. It's cooked! It smells so good! I wonder if it browned the rice on the bottom and made it crispy?
6. Stir it well and enjoy!
