Place the katakuriko and baking powder in a plastic bag. Tie up the bag and shake well.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add the margarine, milk and salt and put in the microwave and bring to a boil.
When the milk mixture starts to boil, take it out from the microwave and add the dry ingredients from Step 1 at once and combine with a wooden spatula.
Add the beaten egg a little by little, then add the cheese (melt the cheese into the dough.)
Make small balls by hand, smoothing out their the surface. Place the dough balls on a tray lined with a baking sheet and bake in a 190℃ oven for 15 minutes.

I wanted to make chewy pao de queijo with kitchen staple ingredients.
After Step 2, everything happens quickly so please prep all the ingredients first. If you're not eating them right away, you should toast them after storing them. They aren't very good when they're cold.
