Pao De Queijo with Katakuriko

You can make these chewy cheese balls with kitchen staples.
It only takes 30 minutes.

220 g
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
50 g
180 ml
a pinch
Melting cheese
40 g

1. Place the katakuriko and baking powder in a plastic bag. Tie up the bag and shake well.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the margarine, milk and salt and put in the microwave and bring to a boil.
3. When the milk mixture starts to boil, take it out from the microwave and add the dry ingredients from Step 1 at once and combine with a wooden spatula.
4. Add the beaten egg a little by little, then add the cheese (melt the cheese into the dough.)
5. Make small balls by hand, smoothing out their the surface. Place the dough balls on a tray lined with a baking sheet and bake in a 190℃ oven for 15 minutes.
