Green Tea Buns with Cream Cheese and Dainagon Adzuki Beans

The combination of soft green tea bread dough, cream cheese and Dainagon adzuki beans are the best.

Ingredients: For 8 buns

Domestic (Japanese) strong bread flour
180 g
Plain cake flour
20 g
Matcha
5 g
Sugar
20 g
Salt
3 g
Dried yeast
3 g
Unsalted butter
20 g
Milk
80 g
Water
44 g
●Cream cheese
100 g
●Kanoko mame Dainagon (adzuki bean confectionery)
100 g

Steps

1. Soften the cream cheese and mix with the Dainagon beans. Divide into 8 portions and shape into balls (1 ball = 25 g).
2. Mix the ingredients except the ● ingredients and the butter, then knead. Add butter and continue to knead. Leave to proof.
3. Divide into 8 portions and let rest for 20 minutes.
4. Flatten the dough into circles and lay the cheese from Step 1, pressing down slightly. Leave to proof.
5. Bake an the oven preheated to 320°F/170°C for about 15 minutes.
6. I baked them in individual cups.
