Easy Pacific Saury Kabayaki

This is my eight-year-old daughter's favorite dish. It's so easy and foolproof, and it will really get your appetite going. It's also great served on rice!

Ingredients

Pacific saury
3 whole fish
< For the seasoning >
Sake
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Mirin
2 tablespoons
Sugar
2 teaspoons

Steps

1. Fillet the Pacific saury, cut each piece in half, then lightly coat with flour.
2. Blot off the excess moisture, put oil in a frying pan, then cook both sides of the fish until golden brown.
3. Push the cooked fish to the side of the pan, pour in the combined seasonings, bring to a boil, then coat the fish in the sauce and serve.
