Oyster Fried Rice-Style

Enjoy oyster rice, made simple by using fried rice.
The rich flavor of the oysters and the aroma of the rice will stimulate your appetite.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Cooked rice (warm)
a heaped 2 rice bowls' worth (300 g)
Oysters (for cooking)
about 10
Green onions (or Japanese leeks)
to taste
★Grated ginger
1 teaspoon
★Cooking sake
1 teaspoon
★Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
★Oyster sauce
1/2 teaspoon
Sesame oil (for frying)
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Thoroughly wash and dry the oysters ♪ Combine the ★ ingredients. Chop up the green onions.
2. Add the sesame oil to a heated frying pan and cook the oysters. Once they've swelled up flavor with the ★ ingredients. When the flavor soaks in remove, only the oysters.
3. Add the rice to the frying pan from Step 2 and cook well. Add the oysters and green onions last. Mix everything together and it's complete.
4. Transfer to a serving plate and you're finished.

Story Behind this Recipe

I like oyster rice, but I don't have the time to make it.
So then it occurred to me that if I made fried rice and added oysters to it, I could make it pretty easily .
