Sweet Potatoes with Shio-koji and Honey Butter

These are delicious sweet potato seasoned with shio-koji, honey and butter. For sweet potato lovers!


Sweet potato
1 (medium size, 200 g)
10 to 15 g
1 tablespoon
Shio-koji (salt-fermented rice malt)
1 and 1/2 teaspoons


1. Cut the sweet potato into bite sizes and soak in water. Drain and put in a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes at 500 W.
2. Melt butter in a pan and brown the surface of the sweet potatoes.
3. Mix honey and shio-koji, coat the potatoes with the mixture and serve.
4. "NaoNao1022" made it with kabocha squash!

I'm trying out the combination of shio-koji and honey. I pan fried sweet potato in butter, and it was great, so I posted this recipe.
