Custard Cream in the Microwave

Custard Cream in the Microwave

You won't believe that this custard cream is made in the microwave. It can be whipped up in an instant, whenever you fee like it.

Ingredients: 2 cups

Cake flour
4 tablespoons
80 g
2 cups (400 ml)
Egg yolks
3 (whole egg between 58 to 64 g)
Butter (unsalted)
20 g
Vanilla extract (optional)

1. Put the sifted flour, sugar, and a bit of milk in a heat-resistant dish, and whisk well.
2. Add the egg yolks and the rest of the milk, and mix well.
3. Without covering, microwave at 600 W for 2 minutes, then mix.
4. Microwave again for another 2 minutes, then mix.
5. Microwave for 2 and 1/2 minutes, making a total of 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Add the butter, mix well, and, if available, add a few drops of vanilla essence and mix.
6. While hot, wrap the surface in plastic, then chill.

Story Behind this Recipe

I was able to make the custard cream I usually make in a pot in the microwave, and it was much easier.
