Chicken Tenders & Bell Peppers with Black Sesame Sauce

The okonomiyaki sauce and ground sesame seeds are so delicious.
Since it's so colorful, it's great for bentos.
A simple dish made in the microwave.


Chicken tenders
2 (100g)
Bell Peppers (red and yellow)
1 each
Ground black sesame seeds
1.5 tablespoons
[Chicken Tender Seasoning]
1/4 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
[Dressing Ingredients]
Okonomiyaki sauce
3 tablespoons
2 teaspoons
Bonito based dashi stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
Coarsely ground black pepper
to taste


1. Place the chicken tenders in a heat resistant dish. Season with salt and sake, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 2 1/2 minutes at 500W. When cooled, tear apart with your fingers.
2. Cut the peppers in half vertically. Remove the seeds and stem and cut vertically into thin slices.
3. Place Step 2 into a heat resistant bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave for 3 minutes (500W). Gently remove the moisture with a paper towel.
4. While Step 3 is still hot, add and mix in the [Dressing Ingredients]. Add the chicken and sesame seeds and lightly stir.
5. Done!
