Italian Style Salmon Meunière

Italian Style Salmon Meunière

If you add Italian dressing, you can get perfectly delicious pan-fried salmon.
It's made with ready-made dressing, so the flavor is foolproof!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Salmon (Atlantic or trout)
2 pieces
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Garlic powder
as needed (plenty is recommended)
Plain flour
as needed
1-2 tablespoons
Onion (Sliced)
a small amount
Green asparagus (thin)
4 or so
Cherry tomatoes
5 or 6
4 or 5 leaves
Grated cheese
as much as you like
Italian dressing
as needed

1. Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then let sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
2. Slice the onion into thin rings, then spread out on a plate to get rid of the harsh flavor.
3. Cut the rest of the vegetables to easily edible sizes, microwave the asparagus to a desirable softness, then chill in water.
4. Once the time has passed, coat Step 1 in flour and lightly shake off the flour.
5. Melt the margarine in a pan and add Step 4. Cover with the lid and cook both sides over low to medium heat .
6. Plate Step 5 and garnish with Step 2. Put Step 3 to the side of the plate.
7. Cover with plenty of powdered cheese and dressing. Bon appetit!
8. If you can't get rid of the onion's harsh flavor (for those who don't like it), it's good to lightly cook the onions on the salmon right before it's done cooking.

Story Behind this Recipe

Since salmon is used in Italian salads, I thought Italian dressing would go with salmon meunière.
