Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you work fast, these can be made in just 30 minutes. They are perfect for a snack or even Valentine's Day.

Ingredients: 16 cookies

small amount
Cake flour
70 g
Milk chocolate (broken into chunks)
30 g


1. Combine the butter, sugar and salt until the mixture takes on a white-ish color. Add the flour and mix to incorporate.
2. Mix in the chocolate chunks and wrap the dough with plastic wrap. Roll out to a 1 cm thickness and chill in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
3. Divide the dough into 16 equal portions (10 g each) and shape the dough into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. Bake in the oven (preheated to 170℃) for 17-20 minutes.

Story Behind this Recipe

I haven't eaten eggs for so long that even the slightest smell of egg bothers me. So I came up with a delicious cookie recipe that doesn't use eggs. These are best made with good-quality butter.
