Porco Rosso (Ghibli Character) Cookies

Porco Rosso (Ghibli Character) Cookies

This is how you make cookies of the piloting dandy, Porco Rosso. Why don't you bake this for White Day, 14 March. (In Japan, men who receive chocolates on Valentine's Day are expected to return the favour by giving gifts the following month.)

Ingredients: About 15 cookies

Basic cookie dough
(Recipe ID: 1963825)
Chocolate chips
as needed
Chocolate decorating pen
as needed
Black sesame seeds
as needed

1. Roll out the plain dough into an oval (rounded square) shape. Place two pieces of diamond shaped dough on that to make ears.
2. Roll out the cocoa flavour dough into an oval shape, and place it on the plain dough to cover Porco's head. Scrape with a folk to draw lines.
3. Shape his nose with the pink dough. Place black sesame seeds for nostrils. Put chocolate chips for his eyes.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 170℃ (340F) for 12 minutes.
5. When it has cooled, draw the flame of his glasses with the chocolate decorating pen. It's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I made this Porco Rosso cookie from the leftover dough I had from other cookies.
