Really Easy Tonkotsu (Pork Bone) Ramen Soup

An ultra-easy tonkotsu ramen soup that is just as good as authentic tonkotsu ramen.

Ingredients

Water
300 ml
Chicken soup stock powder
2 teaspoons
Weipa
1 teaspoon
Miso (white)
2 teaspoons
Mentsuyu (2x concentrate)
2 teaspoons
Soy milk
100 ml
Dashi stock (granules)
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
a small amount
Garlic powder
a small amount
Sesame oil
a small amount
Vegetable oil or lard
1 teaspoon

Steps

1. Bring water to a boil in a pan. Put all the seasonings and mix well. When it comes to a simmer, the soup is done. Taste and adjust by adding more Weipa.
2. Add soy milk at the very end; it's best not to let it boil.
3. Variation 1: My wife made me a diet ramen using shirataki noodles. They had a nice texture and were delicious.
4. Variation 2: We tried it as a dipping sauce for somen noodles. The whole family liked it.

Story Behind this Recipe

This is for people who don't want to spend 2 days making tonkotsu soup!! Or rather, this recipe is for me, since I want to eat tonkotsu soup at any time.
