A Bento Box Gap-Filler! Wiener Sausages with Sauce and Sesame Seeds

A dish you can make quickly to fill the gaps in your bento box. The yakiniku sauce will whet your appetite, and the nutty fragrance of the sesame seeds is sublime!

Ingredients: 2 lunchbox servings

Wiener sausages
3~4
Yakiniku sauce (bottled)
1~2 teaspoons
Ground sesame seeds
A little bit ~ as you like

Steps

1. Slice the wiener sausages into diagonals to your desired thickness (2~3 slices maybe?)
2. Heat a small amount of oil into a nonstick frying pan (we use olive oil at home). Sauté the sliced sausages.
3. When the sausages are cooked through, stop the heat and add the yakiniku sauce and the ground sesame seed in residual heat. Mix evenly, and you are done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I like combining sausages with yakiniku sauce or with ground sesame seeds.
Many members use sausages with yakiniku sauce and mayonnaise in their recipes. I took it upon myself to create a recipe without mayonnaise. I decided to try with just yakiniku sauce and ground sesame seeds.
