Gluten-Free Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Brownie

Here's a recipe for moist and dense chocolate brownies.
Serve them up to your friends and ask them what they think they're made of. They'll never guess!

Ingredients: one 25-28 cm cake

☆ Garbanzo beans (boiled until tender, or canned)
500 g
☆ Dark chocolate (melted in a double boiler)
350 g
☆ Almond flour
70 g
☆ Sugar
150 g
☆ Eggs (large)
☆ Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Rum-soaked raisins
200 g
Shredded coconut
100 g


1. Combine the ☆ ingredients and blend them in a food processor (or blender or hand mixer).
2. Once the ☆ ingredients are evenly blended, briskly stir in the remaining ingredients.
3. Pour the batter into a cake pan greased with oil.
4. Bake for 40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 ℃.
5. When the cake cools to the touch, transfer to a lidded container to moisten.
6. I like to chill it before serving. They're also nice served with powdered sugar.
