Filling Ginger Fried Pork Belly

Meat lovers shouldn't miss this ginger fried pork made from pork belly.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Pork belly (block)
350 g
*Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
1.5 tablespoon
2 tablespoons
*Sesame oil
1.5 tablespoon
*Grated ginger (in tube)
about 15cm from tube
*Grated garlic (in tube)
about 1cm from tube


1. Cut pork belly into bite size pieces.
2. Mix the ingredients marked *. Marinate the pork belly for about 30 minutes.
3. Heat the pan. Take out the pork from the marinade and fry over medium-high heat. Cook each side of the meat until golden brown.
4. When cooked, add the marinade and lower the heat. Stir fry to coat the pork with the sauce.

Story Behind this Recipe

My husband's most favourite meat is pork belly block.
I often cook skewers or thickly cut barbecue from the meat, and I thought it must be good for ginger fried pork!
