Chicken Curry

This is not a complicated chicken curry. You can make an easy and delicious curry with the ingredients you have at home!

Ingredients: 3 servings

Chicken drumsticks
a small amount
1 1/2 tablespoons
1/2 teaspoon
●Grated ginger (tube)
1 teaspoon (2 cm if using ginger from a tube)
700 ml
◎Consomme soup stock cube
✩Curry roux (ready-made)

20 g
1 tablespoon


1. Put the chicken drumsticks, sake, salt, and ginger in a plastic bag, then rub in well. Let sit for 20 minutes. In the meantime, thinly slice the onion.
2. Pour a small amount of oil in a heated frying pan, and fry the chicken drumsticks from Step 1 over medium heat. When browned, add the onion, and continue stir-frying until they are soft and wilted.
3. Add water and consomme to Step 2, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes over low heat. Add the curry roux, butter, and ketchup, simmer for another 5-10 minutes, then it's done.
