Easy Warabi Mochi

The cooking time is only about 5 minutes! You can easily make a delicious snack. This is so easy that you can make this with your kids.

Ingredients: easy to make amount

Warabi mochiko
130 g
45 g
520 ml
as needed


1. Combine warabi mochiko, water, and sugar, then mix well.
2. Turn on the heat to medium, and keep stirring until the mixture becomes transparent.
3. Spread on a tray, and cool. Cut into pieces, coat with kinako, and it's done. Add sugar to the kinako if you like.
4. You can also transfer the cooked warabi mochi into cold water after cooking to harden.
5. I used blend beet sugar, so the finish is brown.
