Chocolate and Almond Sticks using Puff Pastry

This easy snack is made by sandwiching chocolate chips and sliced almonds in puff pastry!


Puff pastry
2 sheets
Chocolate chips
20 g
Sliced almonds
20 g
Egg yolk
Granulated sugar
10 g


1. Dry roast the sliced almonds in a pan or lightly toast in an oven.
2. Spread the chocolate chips and dry roasted sliced almonds on the puff pastry.
3. Sandwich with the other sheet of puff pastry, brush on a beaten egg yolk, and sprinkle sugar on top.
4. Slice into 1.5- to 2-cm sticks, and bake for 13 to 15 minutes at 210℃.
