Melted cheese omelette

This omelette is subtly flavored with cheese. The butter really brings out the taste.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Salt and white pepper
as needed
1 table spoon
Sliced cheese
1/2 slice
5 g


1. Cut the sliced cheese in half. Beat the egg and mix in the milk, salt and pepper.
2. Melt the butter in the pan. Once hot enough that a bit of the egg mixture sizzles, pour the rest of it in. Stir briskly.
3. Once half-done, place the cheese in the middle and fold over to one side. Lift up the pan a bit and tap on the quite hard a few times to move the egg to the side of the pan further away from you.
4. Here's what it should look like from the side.
5. The cooked omelette will hop about when you're tapping on the handle of the pan. Fold it over to let it take the shape of an omelette. Flip it over.
6. Move the omelette to the furthest side of the pan and flip it over again. This will help seal the seams of your omelette together.
7. Plate and you're done! It looks like this when cut.
