Tender Basil Chicken Breasts

Marinating the chicken in basil pesto gives a dish fancy Italian flavour! The sake in the marinade makes the chicken soft.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken breast
1 (200 ~ 250 g)
Basil pesto
2 tablespoons
Flour (to coat)
as needed
Sake ( to marinate)
a small amount
★ Salt and Pepper (or Krazy Salt)
a small amount

Steps

1. Slice the chicken breast diagonally into bite sizes, about the size of nuggets. Marinate in sake and basil sauce.
2. Coat with flour. Heat a generous amount of oil in a frying pan, and cook the chicken. Season with ★ ingredients.
3. Cook the chicken until golden brown.

I have got plenty of basil leaves in my garden. They keep growing!!
So I made a lot of basil pesto and jarred one year's worth. This sauce can be used for vegetable stir fries. It's also delicious.
