egan Chia Seeds & Brown Rice Amazake

Brown rice amazake is great for your health and this uses chia seeds, which are a superfood, to make a breakfast dessert that's like yogurt. Soy milk yogurt doesn't even stand a chance against this!

Ingredients: 2 servings

●Chia seeds
2 heaping teaspoons
●Brown rice amazake
3 heaping teaspoons
●Almond Milk (Soy milk)
About 50 ml
About 25 ml
To taste
To taste


1. In the evening, mix together the [●] ingredients and put it in the fridge to chill. The chia seeds absorb the moisture and it becomes jelly-like.
2. In the morning, take it out of the fridge and mix it. Add in as much of the almond milk as you'd like and divide it into two containers and top with strawberries and blueberries.
3. It's done. You can make it with whatever fruit you have at home. Blueberries naturally go well with it. I personally don't like bananas that much, especially in this season when they need to be refrigerated.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make sure I was eating more brown rice amazake, so I mixed it with the chia seeds that I have been buying at the grocery store and bingo! I don't get tired of this. You can also add pecans to make this even more healthy!
