Stir Fried Cabbage and Pork with Tomato Sauce

Stir Fried Cabbage and Pork with Tomato Sauce

A refreshing and umami-rich tomato sauce coats the pork and cabbage in this stir fry in a delicious way. You can eat a lot of rice with this.

Ingredients: 3 servings

Thinly sliced pork
200 g
1/4 (250 g)
Vegetable oil (for frying)
1 tablespoon
For the tomato sauce:
Whole canned tomatoes
1/4 can (100 g)
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Chicken soup stock granules
1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount

1. Cut the pork into 3 cm pieces. Chop up the cabbage roughly, rinse, and drain.
2. Combine the sauce ingredients (tomatoes, sugar, soy sauce, soup stock, salt, and pepper) in a bowl to make the tomato sauce.
3. Put vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and stir fry the pork while separating the pieces.
4. When the pork changes color, add the cabbage and stir fry.
5. When the cabbage has wilted, add the tomato sauce fromStep 2 and mix in evenly.
6. Turn off the heat, transfer to a serving plate and it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I had some leftover canned tomatoes so I used them in this.
