Whole Wheat Bacon and Cheese Bread

I combined bacon with a bread dough full of cumin and pepper. And the cheese is so melty! A deliciously fluffy snack bread.

Ingredients: 6 pieces

Bread (strong) flour
170 g
Whole wheat flour
30 g
10 g
3 g
Skim milk powder
5 g
Instant dry yeast
2 g
120 g
Cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
10 g
40 g
○Pizza cheese
as needed


1. Cut the bacon into small strips. Mix everything but the ○ ingredients together. Bring the dough together and mix in the shortening and bacon as well.
2. Let it rise until it doubled in size.
3. When the dough is ready, divide into 6 and let rest for 15 minutes.
4. Roll into nice round balls and let rise (2nd rising).
5. Brush with as much or as little of the egg wash as you like, cut a cross in the top with kitchen scissors, and top with cheese.
6. Bake in an oven heated to 220°C for 13 minutes.
