Fluffy Whole Wheat Focaccia

This is a plain focaccia bread suitable for various toppings! It's so fluffy, you can't help but smile!

Ingredients: 4 breads

Bread (strong) flour
170 g
Whole wheat flour
30 g
Raw cane sugar
10 g
3 g
Instant dry yeast
2 g
120 g
10 g
○Olive oil
as needed
○Rock salt or Krazy Salt
as needed
○Topping of your choice
to taste


1. Knead together all the ingredients except those marked with the ○ and the shortening. Once it gathers together, knead the shortening into the dough.
2. Make into a neat ball and let rise until it doubles in size.
3. Divide into four pieces and roll into balls. Let rest for 15 minutes.
4. Roll the dough out to 10cm diameter disks and allow to rise (2nd rising).
5. Poke holes in the tops with your fingers, coat with olive oil, and sprinkle with rock salt.
6. Bake in an oven preheated to 220°C for 13 minutes. The first time, try making a plain version.
7. With cheese and tomato!
