Nutrient-Rich Summer Salad with Veggies and Plenty of Wakame Seaweed

Plenty of wakame seaweed is mixed with this summer standard salad of cucumbers and tomatoes! Increase your nutritional intake by adding a bit of Chinese-style dressing and eating this refreshing dish.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Cucumber
1 to 2
Tomatoes
1 to 2
Wakame seaweed
Equivalent volume as cucumbers
★ Soy sauce, mentsuyu, vinegar
About 1 tablespoon each
★ Sesame oil
2 tablespoons or more
★ Sesame seeds, Ichimi chili pepper powder
A small amount

Steps

1. Julienne the cucumbers.
2. Chop the tomatoes into 1 to 2 cm cubes.
3. Mix the wakame, cucumber and tomatoes with the ★ ingredients. -The amount of wakame, cucumbers and tomatoes should be equivalent.

Story Behind this Recipe

In my garden, I harvested tons of cucumbers and tomatoes! Although I use them daily in salads and salt-cure them, I got bored of the same prep. Adding wakame seaweed makes this super tasty! A bit of ham also makes this even tastier.
