For those who want to turn store-bought nori seaweed into Korean-style nori seaweed. How about trying this?
We always use this method for preparing nori seaweed for hand rolls. This small effort makes the rolls taste so good! In Step 3, there was no way I could take a picture while grilling it for only 2 seconds, so this photo was unsuccessful, and shows a tired piece of seaweed from too much fiddling.
When you spread the sauce in Step 2, don't make it too sticky!!It'll become too salty and the seaweed will become mushy.Lightly and thinly is just right.
