This is a recipe for a fluffy cake-like manju (sweet dumplings) which all you need to do is to mix and steam. It does not contain any oil or eggs, and can be an allergy-friendly snack.
Making manju is very hard for me, so I made easy manju-style snacks.
If they are not cooked enough, increase the steaming time. You can fill these manju with smooth or chunky sweet red bean paste, sweet kabocha squash paste, or many other fillings.
