Bring a pot of water to a boil. Before adding the pasta, cook the green beans in the boiling water for about a minute. Cool the beans down and cut into about 3 cm.
Use the boiling water from Step 1 to cook the pasta (be sure to salt the water properly).
While the pasta cooks, make the sauce. Heat olive oil, chopped garlic, and red chili pepper in a pan and turn on the heat (low-medium).
When the pan is fragrant, add the drained tuna and the green beans.
Mix everything together, then turn off the heat and wait for the pasta to cook.
Put the boiled pasta into the pan and turn on the heat. Toss rapidly.
Mix everything evenly, and season with salt. If the pasta seems dry, add about 1/2 ladle of pasta water.
Transfer to a plate, and serve!
Story Behind this Recipe
I wanted to make lunch for myself in a hurry.
Add a generous amount of salt to the pasta boiling water (2 teaspoons of salt for every 1 liter of water.) Add a little pasta boiling water in Step 7 to make it easier to mix everything evenly and to prevent the pasta from drying out.
