Pesto Genovese

This handy but delicious sauce is useful and can be used in many different ways.


Basil leaves
50 g
1 clove
Pine nuts
1 tablespoon
Extra virgin olive oil
50 ml
Salt and pepper
a small amount


1. Prepare all of the ingredients. Put into a food processor and process until fully combined and smooth.
2. Store in a jar. It would be good to cover the surface with olive oil to avoid exposure to air.
