Shio-Koji Basil Chicken

Just marinate the chicken and bake in the oven!! But it looks like a complicated dish This dish is also great for serving to guests.

Ingredients: 3 servings

Chicken thighs
2
Shio-koji (salt fermented rice malt)
2 tablespoons
Basil paste (Recipe ID: 895339)
1 tablespoon
Grated cheese
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Poke holes with a fork on the chicken skin. Transfer to a plastic bag. Add the shio-koji, and rub in. Let it sit in the fridge for about 1 hour.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and open up the Step 1 chicken skin side up. Spread the paste with a spoon.
3. Sprinkle with cheese sprinkled on top. Bake in the oven for about 12 minutes at 240℃, and it's done!

I made shio-koji. I trying to come up with a dish using that and leftover basil paste, then I arrived to this recipe.
