Easy in the Microwave Asparagus Namul (Korean-style Salad)

This healthy dish is easy to make in the microwave. I recommend you add it to your bento for a little color.

Ingredients: 2 small dishes' worth

1 bunch (5 stalks)
about 3 pinches
Sesame oil
about 1 teaspoon
White sesame seeds
1 teaspoon


1. Smooth the asparagus stalks with a peeler. Cut in half lengthwise, then slice into 4-5 cm lengths.
2. Put the asparagus, salt and sesame oil into a heatproof dish and mix gently.
3. Microwave unwrapped at 600 W for 2 minutes. Add more salt and sesame oil if necessary, and sprinkle on some white sesame seeds to finish.
