Banana Pudding Character Cake

I used a banana pudding recipe to bake a cake.

Ingredients: 15 cm circular mold + taste-testing amount

Ripe bananas

Lemon juice
1 teaspoon
Heavy cream
100 ml
Milk
100 ml
Granulated sugar (or sugar of your choice)
20 g
Condensed milk
50 g
Gelatin powder
5 g
Water
2 tablespoons
Heavy Cream (for whipping)

Sponge cake
1cm slice

Mandarin orange, canned pineapple

Steps

1. Prepare "Banana Pudding" (Recipe ID: 1829428).
2. Whip 50 ml heavy cream until thickened.
3. Transfer Step 1 to a bowl, chill in an ice water bath, and thicken to about the same consistency as the heavy cream.
4. Mix the Step 2 together with the heavy cream, pour into the circular mold with the sponge cake laid out, and chill in the fridge to let it solidify.
5. Make the character while referring to Recipe ID: 1850985. Decorate the cake, and chill thoroughly.
6. Wrap a towel soaked in warm water around the circular mold, let sit for about 5 seconds, and then remove the cake from the mold.
7. Decorate the cake with fruit. Squeeze on some whipped cream as well if you'd like!
