Fried Shimeji Mushrooms with Sesame Oil

Top it on tofu for a chilled, summery (and vegetarian) dish. You can also sprinkle on ground sesame seeds or sansho pepper if you like.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Shimeji mushrooms
1 packet
Sesame oil (for stir-frying)
as needed
Soy sauce
to taste


1. Stir fry the shimeji mushrooms with sesame oil.
2. Turn the heat off and stir in the soy sauce. It's done.

I came up with this recipe to make something that I can keep on hand to serve with tofu or salad.
