【A Farmer's Recipe】 Tomato Hot and Sour Soup

It is a sour tomato soup that is good in summer time when you don't have so much appetite♪

Ingredients: 2 servings

Tomatoes
1 (about 150 g)
Eggs

Katakuriko with water
1 tablespoon + 1 tablespoon
Sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon
Vinegar
1 teaspoon
Ra-yu
To taste

Chinese soup stock
500 ml
Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
Salt, pepper
To taste

Steps

1. Put the tomato through boiling water for about 20 seconds and put in cold water and peel off the skin. Then cut into large cuts.
2. Heat sesame oil in a pan and fry the tomato from the step 1 over a medium heat for 1 minute and add all [A] ingredients. When it is boiling, add the katakuriko slurry to thicken the soup.
3. When the soup has thickened, add the beaten egg and mix the soup slowly and add the vinegar at the end, then it is ready. Add Ra-yu spicy chili sesame oil if you like.

Story Behind this Recipe

I made a sour soup for times when you don't have so much appetite.
I wanted to taste the sour taste of the tomato so I used less vinegar.
