Soak the kiriboshi daikon in water and then squeeze it to remove the excess water. If there is water in the canned soybeans, drain them well. Julienne the carrots.
Cut the bacon into thin strips. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Add the ☆ ingredients and stir-fry.
Season with salt and black pepper. All done.
My recipe for quiche, "Easy! Kiriboshi Daikon Quiche with Homemade Crust" uses this as a filling! (Recipe ID: 1867066)
Story Behind this Recipe
I wanted to try making the kiriboshi daikon-filled quiche from a restaurant I often go to. When I stir-fried the filling, it was so delicious.
Using a little extra olive oil when stir-frying makes it more delicious. The kiriboshi daikon doesn't absorb flavors very easily, so keep tasting it and add more flavoring a little bit at a time if necessary.
