Baked Kale Chips

Kale is packed with nutrients and is great for your skin. These kale chips are so easy to make and so tasty, you just have to give them a try!


Kale leaves
300 g
to taste
Olive oil
1 tablespoon


1. Try to remove the stem running through the middle of the kale leaves so you are just left with the actual leaves. (This will make it easier for them to cook through evenly.)
2. Wash the leaves and wipe away the moisture completely.
3. Put the leaves, olive oil and salt in a plastic bag and shake so the leaves are evenly coated in the oil and salt.
4. Spread them out on a baking tray, taking care not to let them overlap, and bake at 180°C. Check on them while they are baking. They are done when they're crispy.

Story Behind this Recipe

Kale chips are everywhere in California at the moment, so I decided to try making some at home. They were really tasty, so I wrote this up as a recipe.
