Easy Flavourful Tri-Colour Rice Bowl

The garlic and ginger will really get your appetite going. My husband said this tri-colour rice bowl was delicious!

Ingredients: About 3 adults and 1 child servings

【Gound meat】
about 380 g
Grated ginger
about 1 1/2 ~ 2 1/2 teaspoons (to your liking)
Grated garlic
about 1 1/2 ~ 2 1/2 teaspoons (to your liking)
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount
【Green beans or spinach】
to your liking
to taste
White sesame seeds (optional)

1. Boil green beans in salted boiling water. Transfer to a plate, drizzle mentsuyu noodle dipping sauce, and sprinkle white sesame seeds.
2. Break the eggs into a bowl, add mayonnaise, sugar, salt and pepper, and mix.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan, and pour in the egg mixture. Adjust the heat so that it won't get scorched. Stir well, and when it's done, transfer to a plate.
4. When you mix the mixture with a whisk, it becomes crumbly and fluffy. When you use chopsticks, you will have larger pieces of scrambled eggs, and they are satisfying.
5. Pour oil in the pan, and add garlic and ginger. When fragrant, add ground meat.
6. When the colour of the meat changes, add sugar first. Then after 1 minute, add mirin and soy sauce. Simmer over low heat to let the meat absorb the sauce.
7. Simmer until there is only a small amount of liquid left. Put rice in a bowl, and pour over the sauce where the meat goes.
8. Place the green beans, eggs, and ground meat on top, then it's done.
