Shio-Koji Diced Steak Served with Ponzu

Cheap meat transforms into a tender delicacy when brined with shio-koji! Adding ponzu sauce gives it a refreshing finish.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Beef thigh meat (for steak)
100 g
a little less than 1 tablespoon
to taste


1. Marinate the beef with shio-koji and leave it for 1/2-1 day.
2. Pre-heat the frying pan for 10 minutes and then pan-fry Step 1 according to your preferences. Cut into bite-sized pieces and pour on the ponzu. If you have some, serve with lettuce leaves on the side for a touch of color.
