Easy! Refreshing Japanese-Style Sandwich: Shiso and Egg

This is a sandwich with the lovely scent of shiso!
It's a Japanese-style food.

Ingredients: 1 serving

White bread (from an 8-slice loaf)
2 slices
Margarine or butter
to taste
Yuzu pepper or wasabi (to taste)
tiny amount
Boiled egg
Shiso leaves
About 7
1 tablespoon
☆Sesame seeds
1 teaspoon
☆Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
a pinch
a pinch


1. Spread a margarine or butter and a small amount of yuzu pepper or wasabi on the bread. Put shiso leaves on two slices of the bread.
2. Boil about 3 shiso leaves and mince the (boiled) egg. Mix together with the ☆ ingredients.
3. Spread the mixture from Step 2 onto the bread from Step 1 until used completely up. Cut the sandwich into easy-to-eat slices and enjoy! If you don't like crusts, cut them off.

Story Behind this Recipe

I got so many shiso leaves every day that I didn't know what to do with them!
So, I thought of this to use them up.
