Zucchini Tomato Pasta

Add sauteed sliced zucchini and toss with a tomato sauce.

Tomato sauce (Recipe ID: 1802100)

1. Thoroughly sauté the zucchini (cut into 1 cm slices) and bacon in olive oil. Sprinkle the zucchini with salt and pepper (not listed).
2. Once the zucchini has become tender, add about a ladle full of tomato sauce. Add a bit of the pasta cooking water as well.
3. Add cheese, and then mix in the cooked pasta.
4. Arrange the dish attractively and it's done!

Eggplant and bacon with tomato sauce pasta is a staple combination, but I wondered how it would be with zucchini, so I tried it out.
